What You Can Expect
Throughout your journey, we'll discuss your plans and dreams, provide emotional and informational support, and be available 24/7 to assist you during labor. From tips on optimal fetal positioning to postpartum follow-ups, I'm dedicated to ensuring you with the best possible experience from start to finish.
Prenatal
This is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, address any questions or concerns you may have, and explore comfort measures you'd like to consider during labor. We’ll also discuss your birth preferences to ensure your experience is as positive as possible. In our second meeting, we will delve into all aspects of labor and delivery, as well as your postpartum care and wishes.
Labor & Delivery Support
As a birth doula during your labor, I will join you in the comfort of your home or at your chosen birth location, depending on what works best for you and your family's needs. I will stay by your side throughout the entire process, offering assistance and encouragement until your baby arrives. After the birth, I typically remain for an additional one to two hours to ensure you and your newborn are settling in comfortably.
Postpartum
The days following you bringing your baby home I love to check in and discuss how the birth went, share tips on feeding and explore ways to support your nutrition and sleep. I’m here to provide you with valuable resources and referrals to ensure you feel confident and supported as you navigate this new chapter.
